Murchison Falls National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park

A home to the impressive Kazinga channel, Queen Elizabeth is another lake destination full of savanna plains, wildlife, birds, hippos, crocodiles and forest reserves. Travelers on Luxury safaris and staying in Mweya safari lodge enjoy the best lake views since the lodge overlooks the tranquil of waters and great scenery. The boat trip is a must do if you if want to see the wildlife along the beautiful channel. Seeing many different animals, bird peacefully sharing the access to the water in the channel. The guide on the boat was very informative pointing out the different species. Seeing the fishermen in their wooden canoes leaving for a nights fishing in a lake full of hippos and crocodiles was very scary yet it’s a reality that happens on the lake every evening.
